Here is another picture of the food cooking. you can see the string bags (bilums) hanging around the cooking area. These bags are made from the bark of the tulip tree. They are very strong and are used to carry everything from magical items (for men only!! These bags are often adorned with feathers so that the women cannot see the magical items held within!!) to the everyday items of life such as clothes, and there are even bags made special to carry the babies in. These are truly useful items!
